United States
Visits to all 50 US States, most of them multiple times. Need assistance with picking the best National Park in the summer or a visit to an out-of-the-way historical site? Maybe you just need advice on spending 5 days in New England? Want to talk about skiing: Jackson, Telluride, Vail, Breckenridge, Killington, Bretton Woods, Snowshoe, Aspen Snowmass, Deer Valley, Sundance, Solitude, Jay Peak or Diamond Peak…I’ve been to almost all US Ski resorts. For 15 years in Corporate America, I also
planned and executed Executive retreats and Conventions in 10 different locations.
Some of my favorite activities have been:
- A sunset sail in Charleston or NYC
- Golf at a private Island on a renowned 20-hole course while sleeping in a lighthouse
- A trip to wine country focused strictly on Cabernet and Zinfandel Blends
- Fly fishing on the Rogue in Oregon or Bighorn in Montana
- Dog sledding in Alaska
- Dry Gin Martini and Blue Cheese fries at The Ritz Carlton in DC
- Risotto at Spago in Maui, HI
- A helicopter ride in Alaska to a glacier to gather thousand-year-old water for drinking.
Canada
Our northern neighbor holds so much abundance. For three years, I specialized in all-inclusive, custom-designed tours in Canada. Highlights of my visits include:
- Jasper to Yoho National Parks
- Calgary and the Stampede
- Banff (5 visits); ask me about a delicious wild game meal or glacial skiing
- Canadian Maritimes; Halifax, Turron (Tidal Bore of Fundy Bay) or PEI.
- Quebec City (which is like visiting Paris)
- The cosmopolitan beauty of Montreal and Vancouver
- The luxurious and rugged lodges of the Canadian Rockies, Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise, Rimrock Resort, Fairmont Jasper or Post Hotel and Spa. (Post Hotel is my favorite!)
Cruises
I led group tours on Cruises for three years, so I have had the fortunate experience of traveling on many different ocean and river cruises. Below are some of the lines I have sailed on:
- Regent Seven Seas (2 trips)
- Holland America (at least 10 trips)
- Princess (4 trips)
- Royal Caribbean (2 trips)
